Please Note:
In case of illness or
injury, always seek
prompt medical
attention. Reiki
can compliment
traditional medical
care but is not
a substitute for it.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a complementary therapy - a form of healing touch. While its origins can be traced to Tibet, it was re-discovered in Japan and brought to the West around World War II.
What happens in a Reiki session?
The recipient remains dressed, resting on a treatment table. The Reiki practitioner lightly places hands on or above the body, while the Reiki energy flows through the practitioner's hands. The receiver usually experiences feelings of deep peace & relaxation. For more info on Reiki, see www.reiki.org.
What are the benefits of Reiki?
Scientists are studying our
energy pathways (such as
the acupuncture &
acupressure "meridians".)
When energy flows freely, we are in a state of health. When imbalances occur, pain & illness result. Reiki can:
- Decrease stress & anxiety
- Help you feel revitalized
- Boost the Immune System
- Accelerate healing
- Enhance results from other care
- Decrease & relieve pain
- Speed recovery from surgery
- Reduce medication side effects
- Help you sleep more soundly
