What is Reiki?

Reiki is a complementary therapy - a form of healing touch. While its origins can be traced to Tibet, it was re-discovered in Japan and brought to the West around World War II.

What happens in a Reiki session?
Reiki is gentle method of stress reduction & revitalization. The recipient remains dressed, resting comfortably on the treatment table. The Reiki Practitioner lightly places hands on or above key areas of the body. The Practitioner is a channel for the Life Force, as energy flows out their hands. The Recipient absorbs only what is needed, while experiencing relaxation & deep peace. Reiki feels like a warm blanket of healing enfolding you.
